Warning.
When placing the dough on the bottom heating plate make sure the baking mould is
completely lled.
During baking process the excess dough may ow out of the appliance.
• lose the lid gently and secure the handle with interlock (5).
• Bake waes for 2-6 minutes. The baking time is dependant on:
- the type of cake,
- expected baking level of waes and the number of waes in the wae maker.
• It can happen that, during the baking process, the operating lamp (1B) goes out briey and
then lights up again. This indicates that the adjusted temperature had fallen, causing the
appliance to automatically heat itself back up to the programmed temperature.
• Open the wae iron to check if the waes are suciently baked resp. brown. If the waes
are not yet ready, re-close the wae iron and let them bake for a little longer.
Warning.
Steam escapes from the sides of the appliance during cooking - risk of burns.
• Before preparation of the next waes, always close the cover in order to maintain required
temperature.
• After baking the last wae, remove the plug from the mains power socket and allow the
appliance to cool down, with the lid up.
Note:
When removing the waes, be sure not to accidentally damage the coating of the
baking surfaces. To avoid this, use only wooden or heat-resistant plastic implements.
USEFUL TIPS
• Mix all ingredients together uniformly, this will ensure a constant level of browning.
• Never lay crisply baked waes on top of each other. This causes them to become soft
quickly. To keep them crispy, lay them next to each other on a kitchen grill.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Disconnect the appliance from the mains and let it cool down before cleaning it.
• Do not immerse any part of the appliance in water or other liquids.
• First, rub the cooking plates with paper towels in order to remove grease.
• Then, clean the appliance and the cord gently with a wet cloth.
