Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from damage during transport. The pack-
aging materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness and ease
of disposal, and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw materials and
reduces the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging materials
that are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.
NOTE
► If possible, keep the original packaging during the warranty period so
that the appliance can be properly packed for returning in the event of a
warranty claim.
Operation
♦ Before starting to use the appliance, ensure that ...
– the appliance, power plug and mains cable
are in perfect condition
and ...
– all packaging materials have been removed from the appliance.
♦ Clean all parts of the appliance as described in the section entitled
“Cleaning and maintenance”.
♦ Unwind the mains cable
from around the cable retainer and guide it
through the notch on the rim.
♦ Plug the mains cable
into a suitable power socket.
The appliance is now ready for use.
Cable retainer
A cable retainer is located on the bottom of the appliance. This cable retainer
allows you to adjust the length of the mains cable to your specific requirements.
CAUTION – MATERIAL DAMAGE!
► Ensure that you always guide the cable
through the corresponding gap
in the rear of the appliance base for the sake of stability.
First use without contents
Production residue can remain in the appliance after manufacture. It must be
removed to ensure it does not come into contact with the baby food.
♦ See the steps described in the following section without bringing any food
into contact with the appliance.
