• the dilution factor is optional, but if entered, must be a numeric
value
• any other comma delimited values in the same line will be
ignored (for example, in text x, y, z; the parameter z will be
ignored)
• if the dilution factor is omitted, a default value of one will be
assumed
An example of a typical patient list file follows below:

 To add a patient list text file to a batch or multi-batch:
1. Click Open Batch or Open Multi-Batch. An Open Template
dialog box appears.
2. Select a template to which you are appending a patient list and
click Open. A Luminex Batch Setup dialog box appears showing
the template commands in green in the microtiter plate
representation.
