Capacity The following specifications reflect minimum capacity values:
• 10 GB hard drive
• Store data for up to 240,000 test results
• 1.4 MB 3½” inch floppy disk
• 100 MB read/write CD ROM
• Analyze multiple 96-well plates per batch
• Analyze multiple assay templates per plate
• Distinguish a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 100 unique xMAP
microsphere sets in a single sample
• Detect and distinguish surface reporter fluorescence emissions at
575 nm on the surface of 1 - 100 unique xMAP microsphere sets
in a single sample
• Reporter channel range: 3.5 decades of detection
• Collect from 10 to 100,000 events per xMAP microsphere set
specified
• 2.5 x 10
6
microspheres/mL maximum bead concentration
• Sample uptake volumes from 20 to 200 µL
• Sample core: 15-20 µm core at 1 µL/sec. sample injection rate
• Sample timeout limit from 1 to 400 seconds
• Automatic sampling from a 96-well plate
• Start sampling from any well position
• Sheath container and waste container hold enough volume to run
up to two 96-well plates between refills
• 96-well microtiter plates types:
Must be compatible with XYP instrument plate holder: Flat
bottom, conical, round, filter bottom, half-well plates with
overall height no more than 0.75 inches (19 mm). Use black
opaque plates if possible to reduce photobleaching of beads.
• Microtiter plates with 96 wells must be compatible with XYP
instrument heater block temperature from 35°C to 55°C
(tolerance 0°C to ± 2°C) (95°F to 131°F) when performing
heated assays and using the heater block
