SpecicAbsorptionRate(SAR)
Radio-frequency exposure limits for mobile phone users are
given in terms of Specic Absorption Rate (SAR) – the rate
of absorption of radio-frequency energy per unit mass of the
body.
This phone has been tested according to the international
guidelines for the limits for exposure to radio waves and was
found to be in compliance with these. According to the EU
standards for mobile phones, the SAR limit is 2.0 W/kg.
For the phone to maintain compliance with the SAR limits:
Avoid using accessories like belt clips, holsters, etc. that
contain metal.
Use accessories that provide at least 1.5 cm separation
between your body and the back of the phone.
Avoid touching or holding the antenna area unnecessarily
when the phone is in use.
SAR values
Max Head SAR: 0,112W/kg (10g)
Max Body SAR: 1,227W/kg (10g)
The SAR limit of Europe is 2.0 W/kg. The phone type T3 has
also been tested against this SAR limit. The highest SAR value
reported under this standard during product certication
for use at the ear is 0.667W/kg and when properly worn on
the body is 0.952 W/kg. This device was tested for typical
body-worn operations with the back of the handset kept 5mm
from the body. To maintain compliance with RF exposure
requirements, use accessories that maintain a 5mm separa-
tion distance between the user’s body and the back of the
handset. The use of belt clips, holsters and similar accessories
should not contain metallic components in its assembly. The
use of accessories that do not satisfy these requirements
may not comply with RF exposure requirements, and should
be avoided.
