CHANGE SEARCH BAR SETTINGS
You can hide the search bar from your Home screens or change what it looks like if you want.
1. On a Home or All Apps screen, touch the Menu button.
2. Touch Desktop settings.
3. Under Appearance, touch Search bar settings.
4. Select the desired option.

8.6 QUICK TIPS FOR NAVIGATING AND CUSTOMIZING THE HOME SCREEN
 Touch items on the Home screen to open them.
 Touch & hold an empty spot on the Home screen to add a shortcut to an application, a widget, a folder, a
wallpaper, etc.
 To create a folder with several apps on a Home screen or in the Dock, drop one app icon over another.
 Swipe your finger down from the top of the screen to open the Status bar where you can view your notifications
and quickly access popular system settings.
 Touch in the Dock to view the All Apps screen that displays all the applications installed on your phone.
