SET UP A SCREEN LOCK
1. On a Home or All Apps screen, touch the Menu button.
2. Touch System settings.
3. Under Personal, touch Security.
4. Under Screen security, touch Screen lock.
5. Select the desired screen lock and follow the onscreen instructions to set it up.
NOTE: If you’ve previously set up a lock, you will need to enter it to unlock the screen lock settings.
You can choose whether the phone locks:
 instantly when you press the Power button to go to Sleep mode (useful if you have set a longer time for automatic
lock),
 immediately when the screen goes to sleep after being inactive for a set period of time, or
 after a certain number of seconds or minutes after it goes to sleep.
