36 SEARCH YOUR PHONE AND THE WEB
You can use the Google Search app to search your phone and the web by either typing your
search words or speaking them.
SEARCH YOUR PHONE OR THE WEB BY TYPING
1. On a Home or All Apps screen, touch the Google Search app icon .
2. Use the onscreen keyboard to type your search words.
3. As you type, matching suggestions appear below the Search field.
To search for a suggestion, touch it.
To add a suggestion to the search field, touch the arrow to its right. You can
then continue typing or choose further suggestions.
4. To search for the words you’ve typed in the search field, touch the Magnifier icon
in the bottom right corner of the keyboard.
A browser window opens to a list of matching search results.
