5. Activity button (physical
button)
You can program the Activity button to perform a specific action, like answering a call,
silencing a call, turning on flashlight, etc. The selected action may be activated either by short-
pressing or long-pressing the button (see more in “Activity button”, p. 178).
6. Volume / Camera zoom
buttons (physical buttons)
 While on a call, adjust the volume - press the buttons.
 While not on a call, adjust the volume of the ringtone - press the buttons.
 While watching videos or listening to music, adjust the volume – press the buttons.
 When using camera, zoom in or zoom out - press the Volume up button to zoom in, and
Volume down button to zoom out.
 Set the phone to vibrate in Silent mode - press the Volume down button until the Vibrate
icon appears.
 Go to Silent mode - press the Volume down button all the way down until the Silent
mode icon appears.
7. Two-step camera button
with autofocus (physical
button)
 Quickly access the Camera app - press and hold down the button until the Camera app
opens.
 When using the Camera, press and hold the button halfway down to focus, and then
press the button to shoot (see more in “Photos and videos”, p. 206).
8. Back (soft button)
 Return to the previous screen - touch the Back button.
 Close the onscreen keyboard if it’s open - touch the Back button.
