31 REMOTE CONTROL
The Remote app is a unique feature of this Lumigon device. It allows you to use your smartphone as a universal remote control to
operate your electronic equipment such as TV, music center, Mac computer, video recorder, air conditioner, etc.
The device has a built-in infrared (IR) receiver that allows you to record commands from your existing infrared (IR) remote controls

an IR transmitter that transmits the commands to your equipment. You can use your phone as a remote control at a range of up to 20
meters.
The Remote app has a predefined selection of remote-control profiles that you can adjust and personalize to match your
equipment.
31.1 CREATE YOUR FIRST REMOTE CONTROL
To be able to use your phone as a remote control for, for example, your TV, you will need to record the commands of your TV’s IR remote
control into your phone first:
