27 ANDROID BEAM™ & NFC
The Android Beam™ feature allows you to transfer what’s on your screen to another device
using technology called Near Field Communication (NFC). For example, you can beam a web
page, a video, or other content from your screen to another device by simply bringing the two
devices together, typically back to back.
27.1 TURN ON NFC AND BEAM
1. On a Home or All Apps screen, touch the Menu button.
2. Touch System settings.
3. Under Wireless & networks, touch More.
4. Check NFC to turn it on.
5. Touch Android Beam.
6. Slide the switch in the top right corner to the ON position.
