PAIR YOUR PHONE WITH A BLUETOOTH DEVICE
Before you can connect to a Bluetooth device, you need to pair your phone with it.
1. Turn on Bluetooth as described above.
2. Under Wireless & networks, touch Bluetooth. The phone scans and displays the IDs of all Bluetooth devices in
range.
If your phone stops scanning before your Bluetooth device is ready, touch Search for devices at the bottom of the
screen.
3. Touch the ID of the Bluetooth device in the list to pair with it.
4. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete pairing.
If the pairing is successful, your phone will connect to the device.
NOTE: You may need to enter a passcode for the Bluetooth device – please see the documentation that came with the device for details.
CONNECT TO A PREVIOUSLY PAIRED BLUETOOTH DEVICE
Once your phone is paired with a device, the two will stay paired unless you unpair them. You can connect to a paired device manually –
for example, to switch between Bluetooth devices or to reconnect to a device when it is back in range.
1. Turn on Bluetooth as described above.
2. Under Wireless & networks, touch Bluetooth.
3. In the list of paired devices, touch a paired but unconnected device that you want to connect to.
When your phone is connected to the device, the device is displayed as connected in the list.
