MANAGE SYNC SETTINGS FOR INDIVIDUAL FOLDERS
You can adjust sync settings for the individual folders in the Email app. For example, you can
choose which folders are synced on your phone and which are not, how often the phone checks
for new email in any particular folder, and how many days of email is stored on your phone.
1. On a Home or All Apps screen, touch the Email icon .
2. If you have added multiple accounts in the Email app, open the account whose
folders you want to manage (see Switch between multiple Email accounts in 18.2
above).
3. Touch the name of the account you are viewing at the top of the screen.
A list of all your Email accounts and recently viewed folders opens.
4. Touch Show all folders at the bottom of the list.
5. Touch the folder whose settings you want to adjust.
6. Touch the Menu button.
7. Touch Sync options.
You will have the following options:
 Check frequency – touch to define how often the phone checks for new email
messages.
 Days to sync – touch to define how many days of email in this folder you want to
have stored on your phone.
