ACCOUNT-SPECIFIC SETTINGS

The changes you make in the account-specific settings will only apply to the specific Gmail account.

In the account-specific settings you can configure the following:

PRIORITY INBOX

Check this option to make Priority Inbox your default inbox, so it opens when you launch the Gmail app with new messages

(instead of Inbox), and you only receive notifications for new messages that are part of important conversations.

NB: This setting is not visible unless you have configured Gmail on the web to show Priority Inbox.

NOTIFICATIONS

Check this option if you want to receive a notification when new email arrives.

RINGTONE & VIBRATE

Available when Email notifications is checked. Touch this option to change the ringtone and vibrate settings for notifications,

and the option to receive notifications only the first time you have new email since you last read your messages, rather than

each time a new message arrives.

SIGNATURE

Touch this option to enter text that is appended to every message you send from this account. This signature is independent of

any signature you append to messages you send from Gmail on the web.
