For some accounts, for example Google Accounts, syncing is two-directional. This means that changes that you make to the information
on your phone are also made to the copy of that information on the web. Other accounts support only one-way sync, which means that
the information on your phone is read-only.
CONFIGURE AN ACCOUNT’S SYNC SETTINGS
1. On a Home or All Apps screen, touch the Menu button.
2. Touch System settings.
3. Under Personal, touch Accounts & sync.
4. If the switch in the upper right corner is in the OFF position, slide the switch to the
ON position.
- indicates that all or some of an account’s data is configured to sync
automatically.
- indicates that none of an account’s data is configured to sync automatically.
5. Touch the account whose sync settings you want to configure.
6. Check the kinds of data that you want to be synced automatically, and uncheck
those that you don’t want to be synced automatically.
NOTE: When you disable automatic sync of an item, the information will NOT be removed from your phone, but it will stop being kept in sync with
the version on the web.
