2.0 SCOPE The TRINITY LED Driver Dimmer is intended for permanent installations and powering and dimming Class 2 low voltage lighting systems utilizing either DMX512A or 0-10Vdc Analog control interfaces. 11.5 Typical Wiring Diagram Using (1) TRINITY ANALOG and (1) Wall Box 0-10V Dimmer It is intended for installation in plenum or non-plenum locations in accordance with required local, state, provincial, country and NEC/CEC regulations.
11.3 5.0 Analog Interface Specifications The TRINITY ANALOG is compatible with commercial dimming panels and wall box dimmer products meeting IEC 60929(AnnexE) requirements.
6.0 MOUNTING ORIENTATION 11.2 For sufficient cooling, the TRINITY LED Driver Dimmer must be mounted in either a vertical or horizontal orientation as shown: Vertical orientation provides the best cooling option ↑ UP Output Zone/Channel Connections Table Either 6, 9, or 12 output channel options are available for driving and dimming LEDs. Channels are assigned to zones as shown in the following tables.

8.0 10.8 MULTI CHANNEL CONTROL MODES OUTPUT CHANNEL REQUIREMENTS The Trinity LED Driver Dimmer is able to link certain output channels together so that they will respond on the same DMX channel. This is useful for general illumination applications, For example all the lighting in a room could be connected to a single Trinity LED Driver Dimmer, and all lights can be dimmed by a single DMX channel. See table below 8.
10.7 STANDALONE TEST MODES 8.3 Output Voltage Dynamic Range Test modes are specified by address location and may be used to The Trinity LED Driver Dimmer has a dynamic voltage range options of 6 Vdc to 27 Vdc or 12 Vdc to 47 Vdc depending on configuration as referenced in table 6/8 at the beginning of this manual. This allows the Trinity LED Driver Dimmer to accommodate a range in both number of LEDs utilized in a string as well as a variation in forward voltage drops.
9.0 DIMMING CONTROL OPTIONS Trinity LED Driver Dimmer is available with either DMX or 0-10V analog control dimming options. The 3 position rotary switches sets the DMX address of the TRINITY LED Driver Dimmer. IMPORTANT: Each channel within the TRINITY DMX requires a DMX address. The rotary switch address identifies the Base Address (BA), which is output channel ‘1’. Output channel 2 will be the next address (BA+1) and so on up to output channel 12 (BA + 11).
10.4 DMX Cabling 10.0 DMX INTERFACE The DMX cable should meet EIA485 requirements. The characteristics for this cable include low capacitance, twisted pair, shielded, and designed for high speed data. Twisted pair Ethernet cabling referred to as Category 5 cable may be a cabling option upon successful evaluation in the end use application.
10.3 DMX Interface Connections 10.2 DMX LED Status Indicator The table below references required wiring connections for RJ45 like (IEC 60603-7 8 Position) Modular Connectors.
