Installation Instructions - WPSLED
INSTALLATION
Applications
These luminaires are designed for outdoor, wet location
services and should not be used in areas with limited
ventilation or in high ambient temperature enclosures. The
luminaire shall be wall mount only. Inverted mounting will
cause overheating and possible water entry.
Tools Required
Philips screwdriver, Torx T-20 bit (included), 6mm multi-bit
screw driver or 6mm socket, 1/4” drill bit.
1. Remove mounting plate from fixture and remove drain
plugs. (Figure 1.)
2. Determine size of recessed box and knock out
corresponding holes on mounting plate.
3. Place back gasket pad between mounting plates and
fixture. Pull wires through center hole of mounting
plate.
4. Use approved connectors to connect fixture leads to
supply leads and make wire splices inside junction box.
5. Install mounting plate with screws over recessed
surface box. Install the provided self-adhesive gasket to
the back of the fixture to cover the mounting plate. Also
be sure to caulk between mounting plate and box to
insure a weather tight seal.
6. Install fixture over threaded nipple and attach lock-nut.
Adjust fixture alignment for horizontal lamp orientation.
ote:N To weatherproof your outdoor installation, all gaskets
must be seated properly and all screws inserted and
tightened firmly. Apply weatherproof silicone sealant
around all edges between the fixture housing and
mounting surface.
ote:N Mounting height to be a minimum of 6 feet.
Visor Installation
Content
1 Visor, 4 Screws, 4 Washers.
1. Line up the visor with glass door of fixture.
2. Use the enclosed screws and washers to mount the
visor according to (Figure 2.)
