Bluetooth Connection <Pairing>

1.Turning on the Receiver

Make sure to fully charge the eQuil Smartpen 2 before use

(How to charge: place both the Pen and the Receiver into the Cradle and connect the Charging socket

with the Charging cable (B)).

The Power LED automatically turns on when the Receiver is removed from the Cradle, and automatically turns

o when the Receiver is put back to the Cradle. The Bluetooth LED is slowly blinking when the Receiver turns

on. You can also use the Receiver power button to manually turn the Receiver on.

2. Bluetooth Pairing

Click the Receiver power button to completely turn o the power.

Make sure the power is o, keep holding the Receiver power button , and wait until the blue Bluetooth LED is

blinking fast (approx. 5 times/sec.). Then go to the device that you wish to pair with to nd ‘Setting

→ Bluetooth →

Equil-xxxxxx(Individual Serial No.)’ to connect. When pairing is completed, the Bluetooth LED starts to blink

slowly (approx. once every 2 sec.) again.

3. Ready to Use

If pairing is completed, the Bluetooth LED should be always on while the designated application (“app”)

is running.

Notice!

※ Once paired, eQuil Smartpen 2 and your device are automatically connected when the Receiver power button

is on. When there are 2 or more devices within the range of Bluetooth use, however, the Bluetooth setting of the

previously used one should be turned o, and Step 1, 2, and 3 of Bluetooth connection repeated.

※ Ensuring proper position of the Bluetooth switch button

The Bluetooth switch button can be found when ipping the Receiver magnet clip over.

Make sure the button is switched towards iOS side when using Bluetooth on iPhone/ iPad/ iPod, and Others side

when using Macbooks or PCs.

1. Place the Receiver on the top of the paper.

When you wish to pair your device through Bluetooth for the rst time, refer to the page on the left to

connect. Once paired, the eQuil Smartpen 2 and your device are automatically connected as soon as the

Receiver is on. Try to pair again on your setting when pairing is not automatically done.
