Press the Xbox Guide button and navigate to All settings > Display & sound
> Audio output. Under the Headset Audio dropdown select ‘Windows Sonic
for Headphones’.

Right click the speaker icon in the taskbar. Choose Spacial Sound (None)
from the pop up menu. Choose ‘Windows Sonic for Headphones’ as the
Spatial sound format. Click ‘OK.’
