OVERVIEW

Your adjustable base supports the emergency power down fea-

ture for when a power failure occurs while the head and/or foot

sections are raised.

INSTALLING BATTERIES

Batteries act as a backup power source in

case of an outage, but are not necessary to

operate the base.

Locate and remove the cover on the 9V

battery compartment in the power supply

unit. Install two alkaline 9V batteries (not

included) and replace the cover.

If a power failure occurs, press the on

the control box to revert your base to the

at position.

Batteries are for single use only. After

lowering the adjustable base to the

at position during a power failure,

remove the batteries from the battery

compartment. This adjustable base was

not designed to operate off of battery

power for extended time periods.

Do not leave batteries in battery

compartment.
