Assembly NOTES STEP 3 1. 2. Two people are required to assemble this adjustable base. Open the carton in the flat position, bottom facing up, to avoid damage. To install the six (6) legs, thread the bolt of the leg into the frame and tighten by hand. STEP 1 Remove folded bed base from the box and carefully unfold the base. Set it on its side with the base half-way open.
Assembly, ctd. STEP 6 With two (2) to four (4) people, lift the bed by the outer frame and turn it over so the mattress side is facing up. Take caution not to lift the bed by any moving parts, the retainer bar, or to use the legs as pivot points causing angled pressure as this may cause damage. Avoid dragging the base across the floor. STEP 7 To install the mattress retainer bar, insert ends into holes at the foot of bed.
Remote Control OVERVIEW All of the functions of the bed, explained here, can be operated with the remote control. Ensure that the remote is plugged into the receiving cord located at the bottom of the base.
Synchronizing Two Bases For Twin XL bases only OVERVIEW Two Twin XL bases may be placed next to each other to form a King. Both sides can be operated independently with their own remotes or, if desired, a single remote can be used with both bases. Using a single remote for both bases will result in the bases moving jointly. TO SYNC REMOTE TO TWO BASES: STEP 1 Ensure both bases (A & B) are plugged into a power source and both in the flat position.
Troubleshooting PROBLEM POSSIBLE SOLUTION No features of the base will activate. Ensure that all wired connections are secured bellow the bed base. Unplug the power cord, wait 30 seconds and plug back in to reset electric components. The surge protection or the electrical outlet may be defective. Test the outlet by plugging in another working appliance. Head or foot section will elevate, but will not return to the flat position. Bed mechanism may be obstructed. Elevate bed and check for obstruction.
