Chapter 3: Creating the Syncro CS 9286-8e Configuration

3. Click Create Drive Group and then click Next.
4. In the Create CacheCade SSD Caching Virtual Drive window, update the SSD Caching VD name and set the size as
necessary.
The maximum allowable size for the CacheCade volume is 512 GB. To achieve optimal read cache performance,
the recommended best practice is to make the size as large as possible with the available SSDs, up to this limit.

5. Click Create Virtual Drive and then click Next.
6. In the Create CacheCade SSD Caching Summary window, review the configuration and then click Finish.

7. In the Create CacheCade SSD Caching Complete box, click OK.
