The cards present themselves to the operating system through a Fusion-MPT™ interface as single or multiple drives that require minimal user configuration. You can use these cards for either nonpersistent (for example, cache) or persistent (for example, database files) data.

Unpack the LSI Nytro WarpDrive card and inspect it for damage. Unpack the card in a static-free environment and follow good antistatic grounding procedures. The LSI Nytro WarpDrive 6203 card uses a SAS2008 controller with drive firmware that runs on its internal processor. The controller connects to up to four embedded nonvolatile memory modules.
