The Model Verifact A is an omni-directional, low

impedance, electret condenser microphone with built-in

preamp. It can pick up normal sounds approximately

15 ft. away, or within a 30 ft. diameter circle. Verifact A

produces line level output (0 dB @ 1000W) and can be

located up to 1,000’ from the Louroe base station. It is

primarily designed for ceiling mounting but can also be

installed on any type of flat surface. The Verifact A is

compatible with all Louroe Audio Base Stations or

Louroe Audio Interface Adapters.

INSTALLATION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS ELECTRICAL CONNECTION: The Model A is cylindrical, 4” dia. x 1½” H, and has four mounting holes for surface mounting to a ceiling or other flat surface. It should be positioned so that the microphone is 4’ to 8’ from the area of desired coverage. MICROPHONE CONNECTION: A 3-pin terminal block is located on the back of the microphone housing, marked A, B, C.

INSTALLATION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS MICROPHONE SENSITIVITY SWITCH The microphone pre-amp (PC board) contains a sensitivity switch with two positions marked N and L, and is located on the back side of the Model A near the terminal block: BACKSIDE OF VERIFACT A MICROPHONE N represents normal sensitivity (0 dB @ 1,000W) L represents lower sensitivity (-6 dB @ 1,000W) N Microphone is always shipped in the N position. For less microphone sensitivity, move slide switch to L position.
