Guide to the SRX800 Receiver Preliminary
Enter a value from 1 through 8 to make a single antenna the master. The
value entered corresponds to an antenna port number on the ASP-8.
Enter the value as 9 to designate NO antenna as master
After a value has been entered, the receiver returns to the menu selections page.

Assign a hydrophone to be the master hydrophone via:

Three selections are possible:
Enter “0” (zero) to make all hydrophones masters.
Enter a value from 1 through 8 to make a single hydrophone the master. The
value entered corresponds to an antenna port number on the ASP-8.
Enter “9” to designate NO hydrophone as master.
After a value has been entered, the receiver returns to the page of menu
selections.

The ASP-8 and all antennas must be assigned gain values. A typical starting gain
value is 50, but it should be set according to the requirements of the study.

Assign gain values to each of the Antenna Ports on the ASP-8 via:

Enter the number of the antenna port to provide a gain value for it. The display
then updates to prompt for a gain value. Immediately after the appropriate gain
value has been entered, the display returns to the ASP8 Gain page. Following the
ASP8 Gain title in the display is a series of numbers in brackets. These numbers
are the current gain value settings corresponding to an antenna port. They are
listed in order from one to eight.
