Guide to the SRX800 Receiver Preliminary
Insert new batteries (three on each side), with the correct polarity, i.e. the positive terminal
of the battery should be always up. This is also marked on the inside of the lid.
Re-attach threaded lids
Turn-on receiver, and check for normal operation
See the picture below describing the correct polarity of the batteries:
With new batteries, the receiver can operate continuously for up to 12 hours with
the backlight on or up to 16 hours with the backlight off.
To insert or replace batteries, unscrew the round lids located on the receiver back
panel. Each cylinder (left and right) can accommodate three 1.5 V cell batteries.
The polarity of the batteries is marked. Always replace batteries at the same
time. Do not mix new batteries with old batteries. Remove batteries if the
receiver is stored for longer periods of time.
