POWERING THE SRX800 RECEIVER

DC IN P U T :
The receiver will operate with 6 x C cell 1.5 V Alkaline batteries, or via an external 9 V power
supply which can be connected via a jack located on the rear panel. A wall-mount certified (UL,
CSA and CE) power supply provided by Lotek must be used. The external power supply
accepts 110 V, 60 Hz and 220 V 50 Hz. The appropriate adapters (also provided by Lotek) need
to be used to accommodate the country specific outlet. The internal removable batteries will be
disconnected upon plugging the external power supply in, so no energy will be consumed from
the batteries in this case.
Upon removing the external DC connector, the receiver will continue operating on the internal
batteries (if present). Contact Lotek for more information.

Each compartment (accessible from the back panel) can accommodate three 1.5 V C cell 1.5 V
batteries.
To insert or replace the batteries, the following should be done (see also picture):
 Turn receiver off
 Remove 9 V DC power supply, if connected
 Position receiver upside down, with the back panel up
 Remove threaded lids
 Remove the batteries from each compartment
