NOTE

Face Detection must be enabled in Smart Plan before configuring settings. Refer to 17.6.7 Configuring Smart Plan,

page 77 for further details.

15.1 Configuring Face Detection

Set preferences for face detection on each channel, and select channels you want to enable face

detection on.

To configure face detection:

1. From the Live View display, right-click to open the Quick Menu, then click Main Menu.

2. Click EVENTS, then click the Event Settings tab on the side panel. In the drop down click

the Face Detection tab.

3. Select a camera to configure face detection for.

4. Click to enable (

) / disable ( ) face detection on the selected channel.
