LOREX PRODUCT LIMITED WARRANTY
Lorex Corporation (“Lorex”) warrants, to the original purchaser (the “Purchaser”) only, that this Lorex branded product (the
“Product”), if properly installed and used thereafter in strict accordance with the use and care guidelines provided in the
instructions manual, shall be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship. Lorex only warrants the
Products contained in the original factory packaging.
Length of Warranty
The Lorex warranty covers the Product, for one (1) year from the documented date of purchase. All other components and
accessories contained in the original packaging are warranted for a period of ninety (90) days from the documented date of
purchase. The purchase date must be documented with either an original sales receipt from the first retailer selling the
Product or by credit card receipts or statements.
Lorex’s Obligations
Lorex’s obligations under this warranty are limited, at its sole option, either to:
 Repair the Product found by Lorex to be defective; or
 Replace parts or, in Lorex’s sole discretion, the Product found by Lorex to be defective.
Any replacement parts furnished by Lorex in connection with this warranty shall be warranted to the Purchaser for a period
equal to the unexpired portion of the warranty period for the Product. Products may be repaired with new or refurbished
parts, and may be replaced with new or refurbished products, of the same or similar model as the replaced Product, or of
equal or superior quality, at the sole discretion of Lorex.
Warranty Limitations, Exclusions & Disclaimers
This warranty is invalidated if non-Lorex accessories are or have been used in connection with the Product, or if any
modification or repair is made to the Product by any service depot or other person not authorized by Lorex. This warranty
does not apply to defects in or damages to the Product caused by (i) negligent use of the Product, (ii) misuse, abuse,
neglect, alteration, repair or improper installation of the Product, (iii) electrical short circuits or transients, (iv) heat, humidity,
moisture or temperatures beyond product specifications (v) use of replacement parts not supplied by Lorex (vi) improper
Product maintenance, or (vii) accident, fire, flood or other Acts of God.
This warranty does not cover data loss, or costs related to data recovery. Lorex makes no warranty that the software
provided with the Product will function without interruption or otherwise be free of anomalies, errors or viruses. This
warranty does not cover any costs relating to removal, replacement, or installation of any Product, regardless of whether the
Product is found by Lorex to be defective, or software installed on the user’s computer.
Lorex reserves the right to make changes to its products without incurring any obligation to modify any product that has
already been manufactured. This warranty does not cover any alteration or damage to any other software that may be or
may become resident on the users system as a result of installing the software provided.
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE
PURCHASER. THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT
NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR USE OR
PURPOSE, AND LOREX NEITHER ASSUMES NOR AUTHORIZES ANY PERSON TO ASSUME FOR IT ANY OTHER
OBLIGATION OR LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE OR SERVICE OF THE PRODUCT. IN NO EVENT
SHALL LOREX BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE PRODUCT OR ARISING FROM THE MALFUNCTIONING OR NON-
FUNCTIONING OF THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF REVENUE OR PROFITS, FAILURE
TO REALIZE SAVINGS OR OTHER BENEFITS, DAMAGE TO OR LOSS OF PROPERTY, INJURIES TO OR DEATH OF
ANY PERSON, AND CLAIMS AGAINST THE PURCHASER BY ANY THIRD PERSON, EVEN IF LOREX HAS BEEN
ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. LOREX DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PRODUCT OR ITS
SOFTWARE WILL OPERATE WITH ANY OTHER PRODUCT OR SOFTWARE EXCEPT THAT WHICH IS INDICATED
BY LOREX. LOREX IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR CHARACTERISTICS OF THIRD PARTY HARDWARE OR
SOFTWARE WHICH MAY AFFECT THE OPERATION OF THE LOREX SOFTWARE INCLUDED.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, LOREX DOES NOT MAKE ANY CLAIMS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
WHATSOEVER REGARDING THE PRODUCT’S POTENTIAL, ABILITY OR EFFECTIVENESS TO PREVENT, MINIMIZE,
OR IN ANY WAY AFFECT PERSONAL OR PROPERTY DAMAGE OR INJURY. LOREX IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR
ANY DAMAGE, LOSS OR THEFT RELATED TO THE PRODUCT OR TO ITS USE FOR ANY HARM, WHETHER
PHYSICAL OR MENTAL RELATED THERETO. ANY AND ALL CLAIMS OR STATEMENTS, WHETHER WRITTEN OR
VERBAL, BY SALESPEOPLE, RETAILERS, DEALERS OR DISTRIBUTORS TO THE CONTRARY ARE NOT
AUTHORIZED BY LOREX, AND DO NOT AFFECT THIS PROVISION OF THIS WARRANTY. THE LOREX PRODUCT
LIMITED WARRANTY IS VALID ONLY IF THE PRODUCT IS PURCHASED BY THE INITIAL END USER DIRECTLY
FROM LOREX OR AN AUTHORIZED LOREX DISTRIBUTOR. PLEASE VISIT WWW.LOREXTECHNOLOGY.COM FOR A

State/Provincial Law
The Purchaser may have other rights under state, provincial, or federal laws and where the whole or part of any item of this
warranty is prohibited by such laws, it shall be deemed null and void. The remainder of the warranty shall remain in effect.
The Products covered by this Warranty must be used as intended for the warranty to apply. Without limit to the foregoing,
some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties or the limitation of incidental or consequential
damages for certain products supplied to consumers or the limitation of liability for personal injury, so the above limitations,
exclusions and disclaimers may be limited in their application to you. If implied warranties are not allowed to be excluded in
their entirety for any reason, they will be limited to the duration of the applicable written warranty in this document. This
warranty gives you specific legal rights which may vary depending on local law. By keeping this Product you agree to the
terms of this Limited Warranty without objection or addition, and agree that binding arbitration shall be your sole remedy for
any disputes over any elements of this Limited Warranty and waive any right to pursue joint, collective, or class claims in any
form with respect to the Product, your purchase of the Product, this Limited Warranty and Lorex's performance hereunder.
Product Registration
In order to obtain service of any kind, the Purchaser must register the Product online at www.lorextechnology.com.
Obtaining Service
Should the Product require service under this warranty, the Purchaser must provide Lorex with a copy of proof of purchase in
the form of the original dated bill of sale, receipt or invoice and product registration information. Lorex will not perform any of
its obligations under this warranty without the required information as stated above. To make a claim on this warranty, please
visit www.lorextechnology.com for further details. If returning the Product to Lorex, you must obtain a Return Authorization
number, and you must assume the risk of damage or loss during shipment. You must use the original packaging or the
equivalent, and you must pay postage. Lorex will cover the cost of shipping the replacement product back to you.
Limited Technical Support
The Lorex limited warranty period covers one (1) year of telephone technical support. Product registration is mandatory prior
to obtaining Technical Support. After the warranty period has expired, technical support services will continue to be available
for a fee. Please see the Service Agreement online at www.lorextechnology.com for more information. Terms of limited
technical support are subject to change at the discretion of Lorex.

Always use discretion when installing video and/or audio surveillance equipment especially when there is perceived privacy. Inquire regarding federal, state
and/or local regulations applicable to the lawful installation of video and/or audio recording or surveillance. Party consent may be required.
GARANTIE LIMITÉE DES PRODUITS DE LOREX
Lorex Corporation (ci-après “Lorex”) garantit uniquement à l’acheteur original (ci-après “l’acheteur”) que cet appareil de Lorex
(ci-après “le produit”) sera libre de tout défaut de fabrication, dans ses pièces et sa main-d’oeuvre, pourvu que celui-ci ait été
installé et utilisé conformément aux instructions que contient le guide d'utilisation du produit. Lorex garantit uniquement les
produits inclus dans l'emballage original.
Durée de la garantie
La garantie de Lorex couvre le produit pendant une période d'une (1) année à compter de la date d'achat dûment documentée.
Toutes les autres composantes et tous les accessoires que contient l'emballage original sont garantis pendant une période de
quatre-vingt-dix (90) jours à compter de la date d'achat dûment documentée. La date d’achat doit être documentée à l’aide de
la facture originale provenant du premier détaillant qui a vendu le produit ou d’un reçu ou relevé de compte de carte de crédit.
Les obligations de Lorex
Les obligations de Lorex selon les conditions de cette garantie, à sa seule initiative, se limiteront à:
 La réparation du produit jugé défectueux par Lorex; ou
 Le remplacement de toute pièce ou, à sa seule discrétion, de tout produit sous garantie que Lorex estimera être
défectueux.
Toutes les pièces de rechange fournies par Lorex en ce qui a trait à cette garantie limitée devront être garanties à l’acheteur
pendant une période qui correspond à la partie non écoulée de la période de garantie du produit. Les produits pourront être
réparés en utilisant des pièces neuves ou remises à neuf, et ils pourront être remplacés par des pièces neuves ou remises à
neuf provenant du même modèle ou d’un modèle similaire au produit remplacé, de qualité égale ou supérieure, à la seule
discrétion de Lorex.
Exclusions et restrictions de la garantie et avis de non-responsabilité
Cette garantie limitée devient nulle et sans effet si des accessoires autres que ceux fournis par Lorex sont ou ont été utilisés
dans ou avec ce produit ou si des modifications ou réparations ont été effectuées sur le produit par tout centre de service ou
toute personne ou entité qui n’est pas un centre de service autorisé par Lorex. Cette garantie ne s'applique pas aux défauts ni
aux dommages encourus à la suite de : (i) toute utilisation négligente du produit, (ii) tout abus ou toute mauvaise utilisation,
négligence, modification, réparation ou installation incorrecte du produit, (iii) les courts-circuits ou pointes de tension, (iv) la
chaleur, l'humidité ou les niveaux de température qui excèdent les spécifications du produit, (v) l’utilisation de pièces de
rechange qui ne sont pas fournies par Lorex, (vi) un mauvais entretien du produit ou (vii) les accidents, incendies, inondations
ou autres désastres naturels.
Cette garantie ne couvre pas les pertes de données ni les coûts se rapportant à la récupération de ces données. Lorex ne
garantit pas que le logiciel inclus avec le produit fonctionnera sans interruption ni qu'il sera libre d'anomalies, d'erreurs ou de
virus. Cette garantie ne couvre pas les coûts reliés au renouvellement, au remplacement ni à l'installation de tout produit, peu
importe si le produit a été trouvé défectueux ou non par Lorex, ou tout logiciel installé sur l'ordinateur de l'utilisateur.
Lorex se réserve le droit d’apporter des changements dans la conception et la fabrication du produit sans obligation de sa part
de modifier ni d’améliorer les produits qui ont déjà été fabriqués. Cette garantie ne couvre pas les modifications pouvant
survenir ni les dommages causés par tout autre logiciel qui se trouve déjà ou peut devenir résident sur le système de
l'utilisateur à la suite de l'installation du logiciel inclus avec le produit.
Cette garantie a préséance sur toutes les autres garanties, expresses ou tacites et Lorex n’autorise aucun tiers ni aucune
personne à assumer à sa place tout autre obligation ou responsabilité relativement à la vente ou le service du produit. Lorex
ne sera en aucun cas responsable des dommages-intérêts particuliers, indirects ou consécutifs survenant d’une manière ou
l’autre de l’utilisation du produit ou de tout mauvais fonctionnement ou toute défaillance de celui-ci. Lorex ne garantit pas que
le logiciel fonctionnera avec tout autre logiciel, sauf de la manière indiquée. Lorex n'est pas responsable des caractéristiques
du matériel ou des logiciels provenant de tiers pouvant avoir des répercussions sur le fonctionnement du logiciel de Lorex
inclus.
LA RÉPARATION OU LE REMPLACEMENT PRÉVU PAR LES PROVISIONS DE CETTE GARANTIE LIMITÉE CONSTITUE
LE SEUL RECOURS DE L’ACHETEUR. CETTE GARANTIE A PRÉSÉANCE SUR TOUTES LES AUTRES GARANTIES
TACITES OU EXPLICITES, INCLUANT LA GARANTIE EN QUALITÉ LOYALE ET MARCHANDE ET LES APPLICATIONS
À UN USAGE PARTICULIER ET LOREX N’AUTORISE AUCUNE PERSONNE NI ENTITÉ À ASSUMER POUR ELLE
AUCUNE AUTRE OBLIGATION OU RESPONSABILITÉ EN RAPPORT AVEC LA VENTE DE CE PRODUIT. LOREX NE
SERA PAS TENUE RESPONSABLE, EN AUCUNE CIRCONSTANCE, DES DOMMAGES-INTÉRÊTS DIRECTS,
INDIRECTS, ACCESSOIRES, PUNITIFS, PARTICULIERS OU CONSÉCUTIFS SURVENANT DE L'UTILISATION DU
PRODUIT OU À LA SUITE DU MAUVAIS FONCTIONNEMENT OU À L'ABSENCE DE FONCTIONNEMENT DUDIT
PRODUIT, Y COMPRIS, MAIS SANS S’Y LIMITER, TOUTE PERTE DE REVENUS OU DE PROFITS, AINSI QUE LES
ÉCONOMIES OU AUTRES BÉNÉFICES NON RÉALISÉS, LES DOMMAGES AUX BIENS OU LA PERTE DES BIENS, LES
BLESSURES CORPORELLES OU LE DÉCÈS DE TOUTE PERSONNE ET LES REVENDICATIONS CONTRE
L’ACHETEUR EFFECTUÉES PAR DES TIERS, MÊME SI LOREX A ÉTÉ AVISÉE DE LA POSSIBILITÉ DE TELS
DOMMAGES. LOREX NE GARANTIT PAS QUE LE PRODUIT OU SON LOGICIEL FONCTIONNERA AVEC TOUT AUTRE
PRODUIT OU LOGICIEL, À MOINS QUE CELA NE SOIT INDIQUÉ PAR LOREX. LOREX N’EST PAS RESPONSABLE
DES CARACTÉRISTIQUES DU MATÉRIEL OU DU LOGICIEL DE TIERS POUVANT NUIRE AU FONCTIONNEMENT DU
LOGICIEL DE LOREX INCLUS.
