Make sure that the iPod input is selected.
Make sure that the volume level on AudioStation™ is at least half way up. Use the volume buttons on
AudioStation™ to adjust.
Use the iPod Updater (available at apple.com) to upgrade your iPod to the latest iPod rmware. Early
rmware versions on some iPods prevented music from playing through the dock connector.

If you have a newer iPod, a Universal Dock adapter for your iPod should have been included with your iPod
when you purchased it.
If you have a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd generation iPod, you need to use the Aux input connector on the back of
AudioStation™. To do so, you will need to purchase a separate cable to connect your iPod to the Aux input.
(1st / 2nd generation iPods do not have a dock connector. 3rd generation iPods are not supported by the
AudioStation™’s Universal Dock.)
