5. In the Effect Selection panel, choose from one of the 16 preset lighting effects or create
your own. Refer to the sections Manage animated lighting effects and Understanding the
Lighting Editor interface to learn more.
NOTE: The active lighting effect is indicated with a blue flag.
6. You can control the direction and rate of the lighting effects. In the Settings panel, drag
the slider right to make the lighting effect faster and left to make it slower. Click
Direction and select one of the following:
o Cycle — plays the animation on repeat.
o Reverse Cycle — plays the animation backward and on repeat.
o Bounce — plays the animation forward, and then backward on repeat.
o Randomize — randomly plays keyframes in the animation.
Manage animated lighting effects
There are two ways to create a new lighting effect:
Create a brand new lighting effect
Use one of the existing presets
1. To create a new lighting effect: Click on Create New Effect ("+") or Options > Create
New Effect.
2. To use an existing effect: Select the effect you'd like to use, then click Options > Create
Copy.
