Both optical and traditional laser mice use irregularities on the surface to track the direction and speed of the
mouse movements. For this reason, traditional mice do not perform well on shiny surfaces. This is where Darkeld
Laser Tracking comes in. Darkeld uses the smallest possible detail to create a microroadmap of the surface so

6. ADVANCED ENCRYPTION STANDARD
The advanced encryption standard is a commonly used standard in software and hardware to encrypt sensitive
data. Logitech wireless keyboards benet from this encryption standard to protect the data transmitted
between the keyboard and the plug-and-play USB receiver. Since the range of a wireless device may reach
several tens of meters in an open environment, this encryption protects sensitive data such passwords, customer
information, or personal messages.
