Answering machine settings
For all answering machine settings, your handset must be in idle mode (no tones)
1 Selecting the answering machine mode (Recorder/Answering
machine only)
There are two answering machine modes:
Recorder mode: Allows your correspondent to leave a message
Answering machine only: Does not allow your correspondent to leave a message, but
invites them to call back later. (This mode is automatically activated when the memory
is full)
Enter the menu and use the DOWN key to select the "ANS MACHINE"
menu
Select "TAM SETTINGS"
Select "ANSWER MODE"
Choose between "ANSWER ONLY" and "ANS & REC", a beep will
confirm your choice.
2 Default recorded messages
There are 2 default outgoing messages (pre-recorded) in French and English, one for
the answer and record and the other for the answer only. These outgoing messages are
automatically activated if you do not record a personal message for the selected mode.
The default message for the answer and record is: "Hello, your call cannot be taken
at the moment, so please leave your message after the tone"
The default message for the answer only is: "Hello, your call cannot be taken at the
moment and you cant leave a message, so please call later"
To hear the default outgoing messages, follow the procedure "Listen to a recording" if
you have not recorded a personal message.
