Product disposal instructions for residential users
If you no longer use the device, remove and dispose of the batteries, as well as the
device, in compliance with the local recycling procedures. For more information please
contact your local authority or the retailer where the product was purchased.
Product disposal instructions for business users
Business users should contact their suppliers and check the terms and conditions of
the purchase contract and ensure that this product is not mixed with other commercial
waste for disposal.
7 Technical information
Inserting a pause
After having composed the prefix, certain switchboards need time to accommodate an
external line. In this case, you must insert a pause when composing the number.
Press key 0 and hold down to insert a pause (P) before entering the telephone number.
Pauses are also used when saving international numbers.
Redial
You may need to use the redial function if you are connected to a switchboard or PABX.
For more information, contact your PABX provider.
Scope of warranty
The LOGICOM provider warranty is valid for normal use of the device, as described as
part of the instructions.
This warranty excludes the batteries and damage caused by external circumstances.
Specifically, the warranty does not apply if the device is damaged as a result of a drop
or fall, an operating error, a connection that does not comply with these instructions or
your operator's recommendations, lightening, a surge, or inadequate protection against
heat, humidity, or freezing temperatures. The warranty is applicable only in mainland
England.
The legal warranty for hidden defects applies in compliance with Articles 1641 et seq. of
the French Civil Code.

This equipment is in compliance with directive R&TTE 1999/5/EC of the European
Parliament and of the Council concerning the Pan-European single terminal
connection to the public-switched telephone network (PSTN).
However, as there are differences from one country to another between PSTNs, their
conformity alone does not constitute absolute guaranteed optimal operation within
each PSTN termination point.
