Installation Instructions

Tools Typically Required:
Brush, clean rags
Safety Precautions:
Well-ventilated area, rubber or plastic gloves, safety glasses
Surface Preparation:
Remove loose rust and dirt by scraping. Clean surfaces of any grease or oil.
Application:
Apply between 50°F (10°C) and 90°F (32°C). Brush on liberally, working into pitted areas. Leave on 5 to 10 minutes. Caution:
Wipe off painted surfaces immediately, Naval Jelly® Rust Dissolver will remove paint. The rust dissolver should not remain on a
surface for more than 15 minutes. Rinse off with fresh water. Repeat if any rust remains. Leave on longer for heavily rusted areas.
Protect bare metal surfaces with a protective coating or prime & paint within 24 hours (do not use latex topcoats).
Note: If product is left on too long and hardens, apply more Naval Jelly® Rust Dissolver to remove.
Clean-up:
Rinse with water.
