1. For any combination style lock, it is a good idea to set the combination before installing the
safe. We recommend that the combination be set with the DOOR OPEN in order to test the
lock combination effectively without locking yourself out.
2. Clear out the contents of the center console for now, including the factory mat at the bottom of
the console.
3. Remove the 4 factory screws from the bottom of the console compartment using a
screwdriver or an impact drill with a Phillips attachment (hold on to these as they are needed
for the installment of the safe)
4. Set the safe into the center console.
a. To ensure that the safe is set in the compartment properly, make sure that the lock is on
the forward end towards the dash, and that the 4 slots at the bottom of the safe line up
with the factory screw holes from STEP 3
5. Using your DRILL or SCREWDRIVER, re-insert the screws that were kept from STEP 3 into
each of the slots from STEP 4.
6. Tighten the bolts, DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN, THIS COULD DAMAGE THE CONSOLE.
7. Enjoy your purchase!
