Follow the maintenance procedures given throughout this manual. Failure to perform the service and
maintenance or follow the directions in this manual could result in damage to the appliance, resulting in
severe personal injury, death, or substantial property damage.

General:
Address reported problems
Inspect interior; clean and vacuum if
necessary
Check for leaks (water, gas, flue)
• Examine venting system
Check system water pressure/
system piping/expansion tank
Check control settings
Check wiring and connections
Flame inspection (stable, uniform)
Check flue gas passageways
Inspect and clean the burners
Perform start-up, check-out and
performance verification per
Section 6 - Startup of the Solution
Installation and Service manual
If combustion or performance
indicate need:
Clean heat exchanger
Remove and wash burners
ANNUAL START-UP
Owner maintenance
(see pages 6 - 7 for detailed instructions)
