Enable or Prevent Discovery of My Computer
EKdBecause of corporate security policies, it might not be possible to change this particular
Bluetooth setting. If so, contact your IT administrator for more information or if you have any
questions.
To enable your computer to be discovered by other Bluetooth enabled devices:
1.
Right-click the ůƵĞƚŽŽƚŚ icon in the taskbar notification area, and then click ůƵĞƚŽŽƚŚŽŶĨŝŐƵƌĂƚŝŽŶ.
2.
In ůƵĞƚŽŽƚŚŽŶĨŝŐƵƌĂƚŝŽŶ, click the ĐĐĞƐƐŝďŝůŝƚLJ tab.
3.
Select the >ĞƚŽƚŚĞƌůƵĞƚŽŽƚŚĚĞǀŝĐĞƐĚŝƐĐŽǀĞƌƚŚŝƐĐŽŵƉƵƚĞƌ check box.
EKd If you later clear the >ĞƚŽƚŚĞƌůƵĞƚŽŽƚŚĚĞǀŝĐĞƐĚŝƐĐŽǀĞƌƚŚŝƐĐŽŵƉƵƚĞƌ check box, devices that have
previously connected to this computer can still do so.
To prevent your computer from being discovered by other Bluetooth enabled devices:
• Clear the Let other Bluetooth devices discover this com

uter check box.
