CLEANING
1. Disconnect from the electrical appliance connector/ thermal controller from the mains supply
socket and from
the socket outlet of the grill.
2. Allow the cooking plate to completely cool down.
2. Never use a scouring pad or a
brasive cleaner as this will damage both plastic and metal parts.
3. The drip tray may be washed in hot soapy water.
4. Use a spatula or plastic/ wooden spoon to scrape off any excess food adhering to the non-
stick plates, a wet non-abrasive sponge or paper towel can be used to rub off stubborn patches.
Note: Do not immerse the appliance in any liquid.
5. Dry the non-stick plates thoroughly using a paper towel, the outer plastic case can be cleaned
with a paper towel or soft cloth.
Use the Control dial of the appliance connector / thermal controller to select the desired
cooking level. The numbers 1 to 5 do not relate to specific set temperatures however as an
approximate guide:
Level 5 provides an average cook
ing plate temperature of
approximately 205 degrees Celsius.
Level 3 provides an average cooking plate temperature of
approximately 165 degrees Celsius.
Level 1 provides an average cooking plate temperature of
approximately 130 degrees Celsius.

NOTE: The average temperatures shown will be more consistent in the central portion of the
grill whereas, greater temperature variation will be evident near the outer
edges of the grill.
The above temperatures will vary depending on ambient temperature and quantity of food
applied.
