QUICK START GUIDE
LET’S GET STARTED! Your Litter-Robot ships fully assembled. Follow these steps to get started and refer to the Instruction Manual for more information. Get to know the main components of your Litter-Robot.

1 GETTING READY 1.1 WHAT’S IN THE BOX Welcome Kit (1) Fully assembled Litter-Robot III Open Air (1) Carbon Filter (3) Waste Drawer Liners • • • • • 1.2 PRE-CHECK Remove the cardboard spacer between the Bonnet & Globe and between the Waste Drawer & Base. Ensure the Shield is in the track and positioned in the upper corner. (Key must be in the pocket as shown below.) Remove the tape from around the entryway.
2 SETTING UP YOUR LITTER-ROBOT 2.1 ENSURE PROPER PLACEMENT • If possible, place the Litter-Robot in the same location as the old litter box (at least during transition). • Make sure the unit is on a firm, level surface. Avoid soft, uneven, or unstable flooring. • Keep the unit indoors in a cool, dry location. Reduce exposure to high temperature and humidity. • Place the unit near a power outlet. Ensure the unit isn’t pushed against a wall or into a corner (must not be touching any walls).
3 POWER AND INITIAL CLEAN CYCLE 3.1 PLUG IT IN Plug the small end of the Power Supply into the socket on the back of the Base. Then plug the AC/DC adapter into a wall outlet. 3.2 INITIAL CLEAN CYCLE Locate and press the Power button. The Litter-Robot will perform an initial Clean Cycle that will last about 2 ½ minutes. 3.
4 INTRODUCING YOUR CAT TO THE LITTER-ROBOT Most likely, your cat will quickly adapt to the Litter-Robot. Here are some ways to facilitate the transition: 4.1 LOCATION IS KEY Place the Litter-Robot in the same location as the current litter box, set it up (make sure you add litter to the Globe), and make sure it is turned off. Give your cats a day or two to explore the Litter-Robot. If your cats show no interest, entice them to approach the Litter-Robot by using some catnip or a favorite treat. 4.
