What the gasketing material used on the XVML LED
vapor tight fixture?
The XVML is fully gasketed for a water tight seal.
The gasket material is made from extruded silicone rubber.
Can I order stainless steel latches to replace the
standard poly latches?
Yes, a kit that includes 10 stainless steel replacement latches
is available as an accessory by ordering nomenclature XVML
LATCH STSL. The stainless steel replacement latches must
be field installed and are not available pre-installed from the
factory. Please note that there is no provision for making the
stainless steel replacement latches to be tamper resistant.
Can I order anything other than what is listed on the
XVML LED vapor tight spec sheet?
No, by design this product is non-configurable. Some
accessories are available for different mounting applications
or if stainless steel replacement latches are desired.
Can the XVML LED vapor tight fixture be mounted
at an angle? If so, how?
Using the angle corner bracket accessory kit
(XVMLANGBKT45), the XVML LED vapor tight fixture can
be mounted at a 45° angle where the wall meets the ceiling.
Two angle corner brackets are included in each accessory kit
and will work for both the 3500LM and 5000LM fixtures.
Is the XVML LED vapor tight fixture dimmable?
Yes, the XVML LED vapor tight fixture is dimmable down to
10% (0-10v dimming) using a compatible dimmer.
What is the function of the two small bumps
or extrusions on the end of the fixture?
The two small bumps or extrusions at the end of each
fixture are simply used to help align the fixtures for
mounting in a straight line.
Can the XVML LED vapor tight fixture be mounted
directly to a junction box?
Yes, the XVML LED vapor tight fixture can be mounted
to a junction box by ordering the Junction Box Mount Kit
accessory nomenclature XVMLJSB. This mount can be used
on both the 3500LM and 5000LM fixtures. If the Junction Box
Mount is used, a secondary method of securing the fixture
to the wall/ceiling should also be used since he Junction
Mount Box cannot adequately secure the fixture by itself.
Can I get a different diffuser/lens for the XVML LED
vapor tight fixture?
The XVML LED vapor tight fixture is available with a
polycarbonate frosted lens only. No other lens options
are available at this time.
Does the XVML LED vapor tight fixture meet
DLC standard?
Yes, both the 3500LM and 5000LM fixtures qualify to
meet DLC standard listing.
