INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
INSTRUCCIONES DE INSTALACIÓN
When using electrical equipment, basic safety precautions
should always be followed, including the following:

AND WARNINGS MAY RESULT IN DEATH, SERIOUS INJURY
OR SIGNIFICANT PROPERTY DAMAGE - For your protection,
read and follow these warnings and instructions carefully before
installing or maintaining this equipment. These instructions do
not attempt to cover all installation and maintenance situations.
If you do not understand these instructions or additional informa-
tion is required, contact Lithonia Lighting or your local Lithonia
Lighting distributor.

NECT TO, DISCONNECT FROM OR SERVICE WHILE EQUIP-

abrasions when removing from carton, handling, installing and
maintaining this product.
• Before wiring to power supply, turn off electricity at fuse or circuit
breaker.
• Disconnect A.C. power before servicing.
• All servicing should be performed by qualified personnel.
• Consult your local building code for approved wiring and installa-
tion.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not mount near gas or electric heater.
• When back-mounted, fixture must be grounded to avoid potential
electric shock.
• Equipment should be mounted in locations and at heights where
it will not readily be subjected to tampering by unauthorized
personnel.
• The use of accessory equipment not recommended by the manu-
facturer may cause an unsafe condition.
• Do not use this equipment for other than intended use.

• Cuando sea montado de la parte trasera, el luminario debe ser
puesto a tierra para evitar el potencial de una descarga eléctrica.

• El uso de equipo accesorio no recomendado por el el fabricante

To Reverse Face Plate
1. Remove four screws securing
Back Plate.
2. Use narrow pliers to remove four
Face Plate Latches from Face
Plate.
3. Secure Face Plate to opposite
side of Housing with four screws
removed from Back Plate.
4. Insert Face Plate Latches into
lugs in Back Plate.
5. Snap Back Plate onto Housing.
During future servicing of the unit,
the internal components are
accessed by removing the Back
Plate, as indicated by the finger-
and tool-access features near the
upper corners of the Housing.

dConduit Entry
1. Remove Mounting Hole Cover from the top
mounting location by pushing it out with a
blunt object from inside the Housing.
2. Carefully open the knockout in center of
Mounting Hole Cover. It is recommended
to use a step drill bit with true start point,
with thickness steps of 1/8”, to create a 7/8”
dia. hole.
3. Install conduit with fitting through Mounting
Hole Cover, tightening its retainer nut
against the inside surface of the Housing.
Para invertir la Placa Frontal
1. Quite los cuatro tornillos que aseguran la
Placa Trasera.
2. Use tenazas estrechas para quitar cuatro
Aldabas de la Placa Frontal.
3. Asegure la Placa Frontal al lado opuesto

Entrada por el Conducto
1. Quite la Cubierta del Agujero de Montaje de la
ubicación de montaje de encima empujándola hacia
fuera con un objeto embotado por dentro de la
Carcasa.
2. Con cuidado abra el “knockout” en el centro de la
Cubierta del Agujero de Montaje. Es recomendado
usar una broca escalonada con punto de comienzo
cierto, con grosor de pasos de 1/8", para crear un
agujero de 7/8" de diámetro.
3. Instale el conducto con accesorio a través de la
Cubierta del Agujero de Montaje, apretando su
tuerca retenedora contra interior de la superficie de
la Carcasa.

Wiring
1. Insert ends of jumper
leads into the appropriate
two Push Nut Connectors,
carefully following the
voltage markings labeled
on the Housing.
2. If necessary, cut jumper
leads to a length appropri-
ate for dressing input
connections within the
closed Wire Cover. Use
wire nuts or other ap-
proved method to connect
jumper leads to AC input
leads, and to cap unused
lead(s).
3. Dress leads neatly so that
Wire Cover can be
properly closed around
them. Close and latch
Wire Cover.
After completing installation
of Emergency Models:
1. Connect battery only after
continous power is
supplied to unit.
2. Allow 24 hrs for test.
Charge for 48 hrs for full
recharge.

Alambrado
1. Inserte los extremos de los
alambres conectores dentro de los
dos conectores de Tuercas de
Presión apropiados, siguiendo las
marcas de voltaje etiquetadas en

2. Si es necesario, corte los alambres
conectores a una longitud
apropiada para cubrir las
conexiones de entrada dentro de la
Cubierta del Alambre cerrada. Use
capuchones de alambres u otro
método aprobado para conectar
los conectores de entrada a la
Corriente Alterna y para cubrir los
alambres conectores no usados.
3. Cubra los alambres conectores
con esmero de modo que la
Cubierta del Alambre puede cerrar
correctamente alrededor de ellos.
Cierre la Cubierta del Alambre con
las aldabas.

WARRANTY FIVE-YEAR
This five year warranty covers any defect in manufacturing, provided the
defect develops under normal and proper use. This liability extends only
to replacement of the defective part. Labor charges will be honored by
the factory only with prior written approval from an authorized Post Sales
representative.
