PROGRAMMING
Refer to instruction card IC7.001 for default settings and directions on programming the sensor via the push-button.
• Provides large motion (e.g. walking) detection up to 70 ft (21.34 m) when mounted at 7 ft (2.13m).
• Up to 130 ft (39.62 m) linear coverage when mounted at 10 ft (3.05 m).
• Recommended for use in pairs with one at either end of hallway.
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
• The HW13 has three tilt adjustments that are made by changing the position of the plastic peg
that holds the two pieces of the housing together.
• At 7 ft (2.13 m) mounting, the sensor should be installed fully vertical.
• At higher mounting heights, the sensor may need to be tilted forward.
CEILING MOUNT BRACKET (WV BR)
The WV BR Ceiling Mount Bracket allows the HW13 to be mounted in the corner of the area from
the ceiling for conditions where mounting to the wall is not possible.
STANDARD WIRING
RED - Power Input (12-24 VAC/VDC)
BLACK - Common
WHITE - Occupancy State (high VDC for occupied)
PHOTOCELL/DIMMING OPTIONS (P)
BLUE - Direct output to power pack for providing
photocell control. Output is high VDC with occupancy
& low light. For multi-level control, use two power
packs and connect White wire to primary load and
Blue to daylight load.
RELAY OPTION (R)
GRAY / BROWN - Connected during occupied state
VIOLET / BROWN - Connected during
unoccupied state
