INSTALLATION
INSTRUCTIONS
RISK OF FIRE - Lamps are hot. Keep combus-
tible material away from hot parts.
TROUBLESHOOTING
CAUTION
If this fi xture fails to operate properly,
check to make sure:
The correct lamp is properly installed.
The fi xture is wired correctly.
The lamp is not faulty.
The fi xture is grounded correctly.
The line voltage at the fi xture is correct.
Observe lamp manufacturer's recommendations and
restrictions on lamp operations, including but not
limited to ballast type, burning position, and cycling.
Use ANSI rated lamps only.
Maintenance: For optimum performance, periodically
clean refl ector and lens with a soft, damp cloth.
Important: DO NOT use abrasive materials, glass
cleaner or other solvents on lens or paint. Use only
mild, soapy water.

- For your protection, read and follow these warnings and
instructions carefully before installing or maintaining this fi xture. These instructions do not attempt to cover all
installation and maintenance situations. If you do not understand these instructions or additional information is
required, contact Lithonia Lighting or your local Lithonia Lighting distributor.
WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK - To avoid electric shock, serious injury, or death, be certain that all
electrical power is disconnected from the supply branch circuit conductors before installing or maintaining this
xture. This product must be installed and maintained in accordance with the applicable installation codes by a
person familiar with the construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved.
WARNING: RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY - This product may have sharp edges. Wear gloves to prevent
cuts or abrasions when removing from carton, handling, installing and maintaining this product. Lithonia
Lighting assumes no responsibility for claims arising out of improper or careless installation or handling of this
product.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
Do not install a damaged fi xture.
• This fi xture must be wired in accordance
with the National Electrical Code and ap-
plicable local codes and ordinances.
Proper grounding is required to ensure
personal safety. Be certain green lead from
the fi xture is connected to supply ground.
Use code compliant connectors for all
electrical connections.
ALL work should be done by a qualifi ed
electrician.
WARNING: NEVER connect or discon-
nect any component while power supply is
engaged.
DELIVERY: Upon receipt of fi xture and accessories
(packed separately), thoroughly inspect for any
freight damage. All damage should be reported
to the delivery carrier. Do not install damaged
xtures. Compare the catalog description listed
on the packing slip with the fi xture label on the
inside of the housing to be sure you have received
the correct merchandise.

INSTALLATION
LOCATION: The adjustable straight pipe thread knuckle can mounted to any metal 1/2”NPSM threaded
mounting. This xture should not be mounted within 6” of any ammable materials. This xture is for
outdoor use and should not be used in areas with limited ventilation or high ambient temperatures. Fixture
should not be recessed.
JUNCTION BOX MOUNTING
1. Thread aiming arm through the cover plate (not included) and tighten the locknut provided.
2. Make supply connections (described below), attach the cover plate to the junction box. Fixture must be
oriented so that the lamp is base down.
CONDUIT MOUNTING
1. Secure appropriate conduit tting (not included) to oodlight knuckle.
2. Make supply connections (described below) and tighten tting to conduit. Do NOT tighten tting by rotat-
ing entire xture in the desired position.
AIMING: Loosen the side bolt connected to the arm knuckle to aim the xture up or down. Re-tighten bolt
to secure the xture in the desired position.
WIRING
Caution: Check that voltage is compatible with xture ballast (120, 208, 240, or 277V--factory wired to 277).
Use approved connectors for all electrical connections. Insulate all unused leads. Connect xture to supply
wires rated for at least 90°C.
1. Connect the desired voltage lead from the xture to the same voltage supply lead.
2. Connect the lead from the xture labeled (COM) to the Common supply lead.
3. Connect the ground wire (green or bare copper wire) from the xture lead to the ground supply lead.
LAMP INSTALLATION AND RE-LAMPING
1. When re-lamping, turn power off at the circuit breaker and allow the xture to cool adequately.
2. Open the lens frame by unscrewing the two screws on the top of the xture.
3. Install the correct lamp (provided). Prior to installing the lamp in the xture, check to be sure the lamp is of
proper type and wattage. Screw the lamp securely into the socket, back the lamp out one to two turns, then
screws the lamp back in, making sure it is secure. This properly seats the lamp in the socket.
4. Close the door frame and tighten screws in original position. Do not overtighten the screws. Be sure that
the gasket is rmly seated in the proper channel prior to closing xture to maintain weather-tight seal.
5. Re-connect the power.
