Remove finial, finial plate and threaded washer from
light kit fitter.
Guide pull chain on switch housing through hole in
top of light kit fitter, then raise glass shade in order to
guide pull chains through corresponding holes at the
bottom of the glass shade. Align threaded rod on light
kit fitter with hole in middle of glass shade and push
up gently, allowing threaded rod to come through
hole. (Be sure pull chain for fan operation does not rub
against bulb during operation.) Secure glass shade to
light kit fitter with threaded washer.
Note: Do not overtighten threaded washer as glass may
crack or break.
Align threaded rod with center hole in finial plate,
allowing pull chains to come through corresponding
holes in finial plate, and push up. Thread center pull
chain through hole in finial and tighten finial.
Note: Do not overtighten finial as glass may crack or
break.

If you wish to use the fan WITHOUT the light kit,
remove the hex nut and lock washer from the
threaded rod at the top of the light kit fitter.
Unscrew the switch housing cap to remove it from
the light kit fitter and then gently feed the BLACK
and WHITE wires (one by one) from the light kit
fitter through the hole in the middle of the switch
housing cap.
Locate center cap in one of the hardware packs
and place firmly in hole in middle of switch
housing cap. Align holes in switch housing cap
with holes in switch housing. Re-insert screws that
were removed on previous page and securely
tighten all 3 screws with Phillips screwdriver.
