1. Product Description This document describes LITE-ON generic product requirement of 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) concurrent dual radios 3×3:3 indoor AP, which Lite-On product model is WP838E. The WP838E structure as SOC QCA9550+1×miniPCIe radio card (Lite-On WM863). One radio offers 802.11n 450Mbps and another radio offers 802.11ac 1.3Gbps. See Figure-01 In mounting scenario, the WP838E can be deployed as wall mount and ceiling mount.

Basically WP838E is supposed to support the below specific software requirements. Most likely customer will install owned SW rather than Lite-On’ SW, so that we only develop some necessary SW features so that we can present performance in demo show and also for certification.
