Before running DMS Delivery, there are vital DMS Ofce tasks that must be completed. These tasks are listed below in
their requisite sequence. After the steps are completed, you can run DMS Delivery; however, Liquid Controls recommends
that you carefully read this manual and adjust DMS Ofce’s settings to suit your exact needs before transferring les to
DMS Delivery.
1.
Generate ASCII text les using your back ofce software.
2.
Name and assign le paths in your hard drive.
3.
Match Beginning Balance eld (Cong.500) with the back ofce settings.
4.
Set DMS Ofce tax elds.
5.
Transfer data from back ofce software into DMS Ofce.
6.
Label products in DMS Ofce and ensure they align with LCR-II settings.

To take advantage of DMS Ofce’s many features and prevent set backs, follow these steps:

Generate ASCII text les using your back ofce software.
2.
Name and assign le paths in your hard drive.
3.
Match Beginning Balance eld (Cong.500) with the back ofce settings.
Activate and deactivate features and congurations for DMS Delivery and DMS Ofce.
4.
Set DMS Ofce tax elds.
5.
Transfer data from back ofce software into DMS Ofce.
6.
Label products in DMS Ofce and ensure they align with LCR-II settings.
7.
Name drivers, assign passwords, and apply price protection.
8.
Select discount parameters and dene and price miscellaneous transactions.
9.
Select information and layout tickets for DMS Delivery printouts.
