MATERIALS

 Lion Brand® Mandala® (Art. #525)

 209 Gnome 1 ball

 Lion Brand® knitting needles size 7 (4.5 mm)

 Lion Brand® large-eyed blunt needle

GAUGE

32 sts = about 4 in. (10 cm) over Rows 1 and 2 of pattern.

BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.

NOTE

Cowl is worked in one piece, then ends are sewed together to make a ring.

COWL

Cast on 57 sts.

Row 1: K3, *p3, k3; repeat from * to end of row.

Row 2: P3, *k3, p3; repeat from * to end of row.

Repeat Rows 1 and 2 until about 3 yds. (3 m) of yarn remains.

Bind off all sts and pull yarn tail through remaining st.

Thread yarn tail into blunt needle, then sew ends of Cowl together to make a

ring.

FINISHING

Weave in ends.
