Chapter 5: Using the Web-Based Utility
Phonebook
Phonebook
The Phonebook stores and displays up to 200 contacts.
Phonebook List
Access a list of all of your contacts and numbers. To edit a contact, click the contact’s Name. To create
a new phonebook entry, click New. Click Clear All to clear all phone entries from the Phone.
Phonebook Edit
When you click either the contact’s name or the New button from the Phonebook List, The Phonebook
Edit screen displays. Enter the following optional information for your contact.
Click Save Settings to save the information. You can also click Delete to delete the contact or Cancel
Settings to cancel all settings that you have not yet saved. If your IP phone is on, the new contact
information displays immediately and can be edited either in the Phone or on your PC.
After you select Save Settings, a message that reads Settings Saved Successfully appears at the top
of the screen. Click the Phonebook tab to add another entry.
Option Description
Name The contact’s name.
E-mail The e-mail address for the contact.
Ring Tone Stores a specific ring tone for the contact.
Number 1-5 Stores up to five different phone numbers for the contact.
Speed Dial 1-5 Sets speed dial numbers for each number. The Phone holds 9 speed dial numbers.
Type Choice 1-5 Sets the type for either Generic, Mobile, Office, Home, or FAX for each number.
