6. Connect one end of the power
adapter cord to the power
port and the other end to the
electrical outlet.

The LEDs for Power, Wireless, and Ethernet (one for each connected 8.
computer) should light up. If not, make sure the Modem Router is
powered on and the cables are securely connected.
Connection is complete. Go to Step 2: Configuration.
Configuration2
Follow these instructions to configure the Modem Router so that it can
access the Internet through your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
NOTE: You need to congure the Modem Router only once.
1.
Open your web browser. Enter
http://192.168.1.1 in the web
browser’s Address field. Press Enter.
2. On the login screen, enter
admin in lowercase letters
in both the User name and
Password fields (admin is
the default user name and
password). Click OK.
The 3. Basic Setup screen appears. Enter the settings provided by your
ISP for the Encapsulation, Multiplexing, and Virtual Circuit (VPI and VCI)
fields. If your ISP did not provide these settings, refer to the following
table to find the most widely used settings in your country. If your
country is not listed in the table, request the settings from your ISP.
